The EXCELSIOR CHARTER SCHOOL EAGLES (www.excelsior.com) will host the THACHER TOADS (www.thacher.org) on Saturday night, November 24th at 7:00 pm in the CIF 8 MAN DIVISION 1 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
The game is held at Excelsior Stadium on the campus of Victor Valley College.
The address to Victor Valley College is: 18422 Bear Valley Road, Victorville, CA.
Take Bear Valley Road east from Interstate 15. Make a left on Mojave Fish Hatchery Road.
Enter the second parking lot on your right, just past the Campus Police station.
Excelsior enters the game with an 11-1 record and Champions of the Agape League. The Eagles are the number one ranked team in the state.
Thacher enters the game with a 9-1 record; the Toads are the number seven ranked team in the state, according to Maxpreps.
The teams have three common opponents on the year.
Thacher beat Faith Baptist (46-34), Joshua Springs (38-30) and Lucerne Valley (62-20).
Excelsior beat Faith Baptist (41-22), and Lucerne Valley (64-26). They lost to Joshua Springs (52-33) in week 4, their only loss of the year.
The Toads are 5-0 on the road this year. The Eagles are 6-0 at home.
Excelsior averages 58.7 points per game, Thacher 46.2.
Thacher is led by Kyrien Edwards who averages 130.1 yards per game; Kyle Washington leads the Eagles with 129.5 yards per game. Less than 1 yard difference between these two!
